Well, just shy of 1200 hours I finally passed my multi commercial checkride. Got to fly with a local legend and contributor to Flying magazine. Definitely happy to have this one knocked out! It's beer thirty.

When I was a wee lad I wanted to do my PPL in a Waco YPF-7. Had the machine, had the proficiency. Couldn't find an examiner that would administer the test.

A couple years ago a friend got her PPL in a Waco RNF. Martha was the examiner. Love her writing and was gratified to find she's as kick ass in real life.

She really is! She's done so many different things in aviation it's incredible how many stories she has.
