MRJ first flight

In a totally non-dorky question...and cause I don't quite have time to look it up right now, but does anyone know what avionics package the MRJ will have?

I predict it will mostly be a huge flop here in the US. The -70 is listed as pretty heavy, and the 90 is to big for scope clauses. The interior seems to be about the same size as a CRJ from the pictures. It still can only be three seats wide in first/business up front. Not to sure how this airplane will be received yet.

Too :)

All grammar Nazi corrections aside. You're probably right, having said that though. Trans States has a 100 plane order (that may never come to fruition). And also SKYW has orders for it as well.

I prefer the C-Series. But it too unfortunately will probably suffer the same fate as your prediction.

Solid.

As a pilot who considers himself of the non-dorky type, I can confirm that caring about what type of avionics the MRJ has qualifies you to enter the realm of dorky pilot.

Sorry to have to inform you of your transformation, I believe @Derg has a 12 step program to help with your issues.

Nah...The Pro Line Fusion is a spectacular avionics package and light years ahead of the Pro Line 4 I'm required to presently use. To my knowledge it may be the first transport category aircraft with the Pro Line Fusion package (just a guess, I'm just not personally aware of another).

The advances in avionics is quite impressive and I am delighted to see a top avionics package is actually being deployed in a new airframe.
