It's nice to see for sure, 11 folks got it so still plenty ahead of me before I get there but a good sign nonetheless. Where are you guys using yours for the most part?

Just that 2014 was the start of the big hiring wave since the small round of new hires in 2007/2008 time frame. The seniority number between a 2008 and 2014 hire is basically the same. Well over 50% of the pilot group has been hired since 2014 now.

How far are you away? I’m holding out on the 350 so @derg can do my OE. If he doesn’t bail early haha.

On paper just about 2,000 numbers away as I was a summer '16 hire. We'll see what that equates to over the next several years with deliveries and folks holding out 787 possibly.

Meanwhile I'll keep living that living that good international FO life. Might join you and @derg on the Trash Panda next year for a change of pace.

I’m slightly junior to you. I live 20mins from LGA so I’m loving my 320 left seat but I’m hoping with the 787 coming in a few years I can move over to that. What I’m really hoping is them putting the 350-1000 in NYC. I’ll be all over that. But it’s nice to see the wall coming down. Hope it lasts before orange man kills us all haha.

Yeah, that's certainly the caveat with the next black swan event. Hopefully doesn't happen.

I'd do the left seat NB as well if I lived in base, but alas just can't bring myself to commute to that.

No. The only things we turn (regularly) are overnighters to Samoa (3 pilots... which is rough) and Tahiti (4 pilots... which is super bougie if you are the senior crew). To recover from cancellations, they'll sometimes send a 4 pilot crew to the west coast and back as a turn.

The Flight Attendants have a line of day turns between Honolulu or Maui and LAX, and sometimes will do a multi day turn where they fly something like LAX-OGG-SEA and then do SEA-OGG-LAX. Or three days where they do HNL-SMF and then SMF-HNL-PDX and then PDX-HNL or something similar.
