Glad to get that positive update. Little steps......all good! :) Hopefully, he's been receiving cards and notes from his JC pals and that has helped brighten his day! Not to be a nudge, but I would encourage anyone who hasn't already done it to drop him a line to cheer him up. ;) You know if it was any of us in the hospital, he'd be the first one to send a care package. That's the kind of guy he is. :nana2:

I get home in a couple of days and I'm definitely sending a card when I get home.

Of course, I could send it from here...I tried sending Christmas Cards from here at the beginning of December, and the people received them at the end of January and middle of February. I think he can wait a couple more days so he will actually get it!!:D

The best PM I ever received was the one I got from Mike earlier this afternoon! He was replying to a PM I sent when I hadn't seen him on JC in a while and had a bad feeling something was up. I am sooo happy to hear he's doing better! :rawk: :nana2: :)
 
Looks like things are getting better (other than the dreaded hospital cabin fever!) Hope the good news keeps coming!!
 
I can feel a big ass constrictor loosen its grip around my torso, now I hear that Mike is out of ICU. Since day one I have dreaded clicking on this thread, thinking an update would show a constant decline is his condition. Now, we both can breathe easier:)
 
Great news!! I feel a lot more relieved now (as does most everyone else, I'm sure) knowing that he's not on the vent anymore. Hopefully someone will bring him a laptop in the hospital so he can see how much he's loved!
