Moving to Phoenix!!!!!!

It's a pretty casual place. There's a tiki bar about two blocks away with some killer mojitos but I can't remember the name off the top of my head. Are you there during the week or on the weekends? I'll spring for the first round.
 
During the week. Starting Jan 30th. Don't get off duty tell midnight, though, so maybe best I can do is be there by 12:30.

I think last call in AZ is 0200 now, so that just might work!

A mojito is like a rum-based Cuban (?) drink with mint. It sounds 'foo foo' but they tend to pack a punch if you're not careful.
 
Bars close at 0200. I think that's gonna work....

We'll have to find a regular place and call it NJC PHX on a daily (nightly) basis.

I'm doing hot standby which is on duty at PHX from 1600 to 2400. You only fly if something weird happens in the southwest and they decide to launch you, which seems to happen between 0 and 2 times a week. Usually you get released to the hotel at midnight.
 
Now my liver REALLY says "oww!". I might be away the first week of February depending of it the cruise comes thru or not.
 
Headed out for Phoenix on Saturday morning. Now I got to get hotel reservations till we get an apartment. I feel like I'm applying for a mortgage just to rent apartments! Jeez!

Made it! I've been with out internet for two weeks at home. Mesa blocks the JC site at work, so I've been jonesing for JC. We're almost settled in just need furniture or at least beds. Air mattress is starting to get old, and quick! Found an apartment in Tempe. Real close to ASU and work. Now I have to go find a new flight school. I've been in school all week and talked to some of the CRJ and Dash-8 candidates. Two of the CRJ guys I remeber form DCA. One guy started two months after I did.

Guess Mesa doesn't like that JC tells the truth huh?

Anyways..cool man. I work in Tempe at University & Mill in the Chase buildings like a minute walk from US AIRWAYS HQ. Maybe less then a mile from the airport. I live in Mesa not far from Tempe. I can shoot you a PM with my number and me you the wife and whoever else can hang out.

I don't know if they block other sites, such as flightinfo or what not. I can get in to mesa lounge. When I go to work tomorrow I'll see what websites I can view.
 
Today I was able to view flightinfo and airliners.net and other "pilot" sites. Whatever filter software Mesa uses, will not give access to JC due to the words job search. So the filter program states.

Rumot has it that if you enter :

www.proxysystems.net into the address bar you will be able to pass any filter.

Once you get to the proxy site, in the lower left portion there will be a link to 'old site' click that and you will get a window where you can enter the site in question into the url window and you'll be good to go.

We're free Wed or Thurs- Saturdays. I alternate work days. One week I work Sun-Tues and the other I work Sun - Wed. Though this Friday I'm flying to ABQ and back to bring my son back from his grandparents. I'll pm my numbers.
