I give it 5 years and they'll be running UAS caravans at least on routes that have a precision approach on each end.

A roommate of mine was on this airplane out of this airport as a jumpseater, crashed and burned upon landing. FedEx offered him a job, in compensation I suppose, for almost killing him. He turned it down in favor of remaining with the regional we were then flying for. It is true that not everyone is drawn to this brass ring.Ah, okay.
Because, you know, there are plenty of "going back to freight" jobs that would be substantially better than your 121 regional job.
But, hey, FedEx pilots only fly about 500-ish hours a year, so it may not be worth it for you.

Change it or solve it? A changed problem is still a problem you knowA flow would change this problem overnight.
Honestly, I wouldn't even consider FedEx and UPS. I quickly found out that the night flying thing just didn't suit me, it takes a special kind of person. One willing to trade money for years off their life, something I don't want to do. I'm not saying they're bad jobs, just that night flying kills you. But hey, I've only made over 70K as a first year FO at a regional, so what do I know.
So then no plans of flying wide bodies at a major? Even on the narrow bodies red eyes can't be avoided for the most part.
I stand corrected Sir. Indeed I mean solve this problem, lol.Change it or solve it? A changed problem is still a problem you know
Just saw a boat load of job listings for this company on JSFirm.com today, even for C208 captains . . . anyone knows if they are starting to hire home-based pilots and they are just including the cities from which they would fly them out (via commercial flights) to assignments in the job listings? There's quite a few of them for Florida cities like TPA, MCO,or FLL but I don't think they actually have C208 routes out of them.
