Just an FYI if you receive a phone call with the caller id of:
201-829-1351
Several months back I ordered a cd from the CAPT program just to see what they were selling. It was a nice flash dvd and I was curious as to how they were selling the program.
For the last week I have been receiving calls from the number above but never seemed to be near my cell phone when it rang. I was curious as to who it may be so I looked up the area code and it shows up as Jersey City, NJ. I called the number back a few times and it says , Sorry, this number is no longer in service! Huh !!!!
Well today it rang again and I finally was able to take the call. It turns out to be ERAU and someone representing the CAPT program. She mentions that I had ordered the cd and wondered if I rec'd everything. I told her yes, some time ago. She asks if I am still interested in ERAU-CAPT. I told her no, "I have decided to persue a different avenue for my training". She then asks if I would be willing to visit one of the campuses if ERAU was willing to help with some fo the travel expenses. I reittirated (sp?), that I have decided to persue a different avenue to my training.
As a grand finale she says to me, (DE727UPS will like this one), JohnH, drum roll please................
"What, are you no longer interested in aviation as a career?!"
As if the CAPT program is the only way to go. Absolutely Hilarious !!!
