It's not an audit of Allegiant/AA, it's an audit of the FAA, which should be subject to periodic audits anyways.
As a government employee, I can tell you that my organization lives by the same principal my mom gave me when I had a girl over - "if you're not doing anything wrong, why would you close the door?"
