CFM just makes the engine to fit inside the cowling Boeing designs.

That said, this isn't a Boeing problem, but rather a SW maintenance problem (and possibly also a SW FO problem).
I thought I read on here they don’t do walk arounds every leg at SWA? Unless that’s a thing of the past.

It occurred to me that maybe you were making a dad joke.

A certain Airbus operator did that until they were told that it was considered a modification and needed some approval. At least that's what I was told.
