Mooney from MKG - LAS and back...2.5 days

A bit bored with my office life this time of year so myself and another guy from our club decided to take our Mooney 20F this Friday afternoon and fly to Vegas from Muskegon.

We plan on returning Sunday, so not sure how much I will be awake in Vegas, but I was wonderning if there were any "Must See" fuel stops along the way? Any great FBO's we should try and hit? Flour bomb Derg house?

This will be the longest flight for me as I have been usually 1 - 3 hours.

I'll be in N9576M if you want to stalk it on flightaware
 
Fly low over Kanab, pretty pretty when you get up close to those bluffs.

Straight over the lake at 10K - 12K.

I'll bring a better camera than my iPhone this trip and post them up when I get back.

Better charge my iCom backup.....

This puts me within easy reach of CSEL in January now
 
A little of both. Today the clouds are rolling in with some nasty gust. Its suppose to get worse Thursday into Friday. If your getting in later on Friday you should miss it. 50% chance of rain. Are you landing at HND?
 
Not leaving here until 2, so it will be midnight or later arrival there. HND is the plan staying at Hilton Grand Vacation

I'm in Soutern Colorado. If it looks like you are going this way, lemme know. Watch the weather, we are supposed to get snow over the next few days.
