DAYTONA BEACH – A twin-engine plane crashed at the end of Daytona Beach International Airport early this morning, killing at least one person.
Volusia County public information personnel confirmed reports from the scene that one person was killed and another person was inside the plane.
County officials received reports of a crash at 8:46 a.m. The plane that crashed was a non-commercial plane.
"There's a rumor going around that the airport is closed," said Vickie Pleus, Volusia County spokeswoman. "It is not closed to commercial traffic. It is closed to non-commercial traffic."
The crash occurred near at Clyde Morris Boulevard and Aviation Center Parkway.
Report I saw said it was a Navajo. Anyways, prayers with all involved.
