"Mommy, are they all going to work?"

I dubbed my AA F/A graduation video from VHS to DVD the other night. I showed the boys the scene from the wing pinning ceremony where Bill pins my wings. On the stage is me, Bill, and the instructor team from my class (5 instructors). We're all in full uniform. Our 5 1/2 year old sees this and says "Mommy, are they all going to work?" :laff: He associates a uniform with "going to work", because when he sees Daddy in the uniform he's going to work.... So a whole stage full of people in uniform were all going to work. :D

He was a bit confused why *I* was in a uniform though. I had to explain that before he came to be I used to go to work too.

Reminds me of when I was a wee youngster and my dad was in the Navy. He would be away on a deployment and we would be at the grocery store. Every time I would see someone in their crackerjack suit I would yell, Daddy, There's Daddy.

I don't recall it, but my mom says it imbarrased the @#$% out of her.

Ahhh the old donning of the uniform ceremony. Even my dogs start to mope and whine when I walk downstairs with that thing on haha.
