Question...what is the average cost for MOH on a Lycoming O-320 out of a Cessna 172P??
Wow...so I guess when looking at buying an airplane time SMOH would be a major factor...at least to me it would. If you know you are going to have to drop 17K within a couple of hundred hours. We just did a 520 for $22K and an O200 for $14K so it would likely fall someplace in between.
Well... That depends. Airframe (especially structural) repairs will rack up a shocking bill very quickly. I'd go for an airplane with a runout motor and sound, corrosion-free structure over one with a new motor and shady structure.Wow...so I guess when looking at buying an airplane time SMOH would be a major factor...at least to me it would.
