How do our resident controllers feel about the modification to rest rules? Is this a big deal or not?

I mean our rest is also 10 hrs, but I don't know that we have to live with the cumulative effects of 6 on/1 off life schedules. Pretty easy to suck up a short rest when you have 20 days off in a month. Apples//oranges?
