Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Corporate Aviation Department has an immediate opening for a First Officer. The First Officer will report to the Aviation Manager/Chief Pilot, as well as the Captain of each flight. This is an excellent opportunity for pilots to further their skills and advance their careers in aviation. The ideal candidate is both a self-starter and a team player that possesses a strong, service-oriented work ethic.
Responsibilities include:
• Assist the captain with discharging safety responsibilities to assure safety of all flights
• Provide excellent customer service to flight passengers
• Perform duties as assigned during both flight preparation and in flight
• Assume the duties of the Pilot in Command in the event that this pilot is incapacitated
• Follow all FARs and Enterprise policies pertinent to assigned duties.
• Update publications and enter flight data as needed
• Manipulate the controls on a regular basis
• Supervise refueling and servicing of the aircraft and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the aircraft as needed
• Maintain current navigation manuals and charts
• Review ship papers to ascertain factors such as load weight, fuel supply, weather conditions, and flight route and schedule
Qualifications include:
• Pilot licensing as an airline transport, multi-engine pilot; biennial flight review, and pilot-in-command check (FAR 61.58)
• Medical certificate: first class
• Recent flight experience of both day and night takeoffs and landings (3 in past 90 days), as well as instrument accuracy and competency check
• Experience including a minimum of 3,500 total flight hours; 1,500 jet flight hours; one aircraft type rating; international flight experience; and five years aviation employment in corporate, airline or related fields
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of regulations and basic computer skills
Preferred qualifications include:
• Falcon 900, 900EX or 50 experience
• Four-year college degree
• High-altitude endorsement
• Jet transition course (if transitioning from turboprop or rotary-wing aircraft)
• FCC radio license (international operations)
• International operations training
