Mixing of fuels......

Ive never run into this before, but if a plane uses and has autogas in its tanks, whats the deal when you have to refuel and no autogas is available at the location?....whats the deal with mixing autogas and other AvGas....

It can still use 100LL or whatever. The auto gas ability is because of an STC.

I am by no means an expert but the one auto fuel STC I saw stated that mixing auto and av gas was permitted in any ratio.

The only advantage of the Auto Gas STC is to save money. Some lower compression engines do not require 100 octane gas and be run on auto gas for lower cost. It does not hurt anything to run higher octane leaded avgas.
