The Massachusetts Institute of Technology International Center for Air Transportation is investigating a new EFB app to aid air carrier pilots in making tactical decisions regarding speed and altitude during the cruise phase of flight. This app allows pilots to see how alternate vertical trajectories will affect aircraft fuel burn and schedule performance. The purpose of this study is to obtain user feedback on the system and the EFB app.

Input from experienced air carrier pilots is requested for the prototype app via web-based survey.
