Description:
Mission Coordinator/Flight Follower is responsible for coordinating and communicating with flight crews, maintenance, and Guest Services on all mission related operational factors, logistics, and flight data.
Reports to: Director, Mission Control
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, review, and monitor operational factors which may impact client trips and communicate potential issues to guest services
- Arrange and confirm all aircraft services
- Research fuel pricing and arrange releases or alternate payment methods as necessary
- Arrange and confirm international handling and customs approvals
- Confirm operational release approval of all flights according to FAA regulations and company policies
- Brief crewmembers and communicate changes as necessary
- Arrange and confirm crewmember logistics such as transportation, lodging, and meals
- Flight follow all company aircraft and pilots
- Record flight and pilot data into trip management system
- Serve as a liaison between Maintenance, Crewmembers, and Guest Services teams
- Evaluate weather, NOTAMs, & TFR’s to ensure safe and legal flight
