Mile High Club!

in a 172....unless they are taking up two midgets, it's going to be crowded.

Isn't part of the excitement doing what you are not supposed to do, you know, breaking the rules.....?

Been a while since I have been in piston pounder. BUT: I doubt it would be within the CG envelope with two adults in the back and just a pilot in front.

Plus, when they are back there making pies, it would generate be some good turbulence, provided they are following the recipe correctly.

Whatever. Creative business idea, but not something I'd participate in or pay money for though.

I just did the calculations for a 172SP.

With a 200 pound pilot up front, and 350 pounds in the back , the plane could take off with 47 gallons of fuel and still be within weight and balance limits.

No problem at all.

They could still carry 5 pounds of "accessories"

;)

Nothing gets me in the mood like 80-90+ db's of loud piston engines with another dude a foot a way while I plow.:buck: Maybe if I was once again in college and hammered.

I remember somebody in Daytona Beach that was passing out business cards for something like this too. "Mile High Club expericence" - in a stretched Cherokee that had no back seats installed...only a bed. He supposedly had a curtain behind the pilot/front seat, and everything else was left open. This was just too funny.... dont remember what he was charging.

Yep, that sounds a lot like Flamingo Air, as I posted above. It might even be the same aircraft type!
