ARMA Aviation Kabul, Kabol Afghanistan, International:<BR />Provide oversight of all aspects of flight training to US and/or foreign students including both rated and nonrated crewmembers. Develop POIs and training plans modeled after US Army IERW to include basic flight, tactical flight, instrument flight training, and night vision goggles. Monitors the training of Students to International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) visual flight rules (VFR) and instrument flight rules (IFR) day/ night standards. Produce military-certified Pilots and Instructor Pilots that are safe, proficient and capable in-flight planning, flight maneuvers, navigation procedures, and emergency procedures. Develop and execute schedules, policies, instruction, records documentation, and syllabi required for flight and ground training. Develop and adhere to Flight Operating Procedures (FOP), Ground Operating Procedures (GOP) IAW AR 95-20. Follow direction of the Government Flight Representative to include participation in Aviation Program Teams. Maintain currency in aircraft of record. Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Position is in Afghanistan requiring medical screening and pre-deployment training at a U.S. Army CONUS Replacement Center.<br /><strong><br />Responsibilities:</strong><br /><ul><li>Valid and current FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with rotorcraft and instrument ratings in the applicable aircraft class, or US Military equivalent.</li><li>Must hold a valid FAA instrument, or US Military equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of 1500 flight hours with 500 hours as an instructor pilot, of which at least 200 flight hours must have been in rotary winged aircraft.</li><li>Must hold a valid and current FAA or military equivalent Class II Medical Certificate as prescribed by the Government.</li><li>Must be NVG qualified.</li><li>Preferred candidate will be current and qualified in the Mi-17 and/or PC-12.</li><li>Must be deployable according to CENTCOM and US Army Deployment Standards.</li><li>Current Physical (within 12 months of deployment).</li><li>Valid US Passport</li><li>Eligible for reinstatement of security clearance at SECRET level</li></ul>
