Hi,

Is spending 20K for this worth it. Even in this economy is there a chance to get hired with only 300 hourse.
 
A year or two ago, that may have sounded like a quick and efficient way to get to the airlines. In current times, I don't think you would be able to get a job. In fact, not only would you not be working for an airline, you wouldn't even be qualified to flight instruct if you do the PACE program. The best bet would be to get your cfi and cfii/mei if you are looking to get paid to fly any time soon. Then, by the time the industry picks back up again, you could have a respectable amount of time, which would help you get that regional airline job you want. Good luck.
 
Since Mesa has furloughed there is no interview for you right now and with the way things are going at Mesa I would say to stay away. I am in the Arizona State program so yes you can get an interview but most choose not to go to Mesa.
 
Thanks for the answer. I was wondering, I had a feeling it is a bed idea. The problem is I have a CFI but cannot get a local CFI job I live in Birmingham AL. I was thinking of going to Florida to instruct but where.

FIT was looking for instructors.
