I have asked this question before but I did not get any answers. So here it goes again. Does anyone have anything on the pilot program out at Midland College.
 
I talked to them a bit and it appears their program is very similar to the abinitio program at San Juan. Then you go to Farmington for the 5th semester jet turbine course.

So for me, I already have my commercial instrument multi-engine, so I stopped looking for info there.
 
Right, Midland only offers the ab-initio program. Considering you already have your commie and multi, you're probably interested in MAPD's PACE program? You can find more information on San Juan MAPD at www.mesalounge.com. There you can also find the perspectives of pilots on working at Mesa, which is obviously an important factor in deciding whether or not to pursue the MAPD program.
 
I tried to register for mesalounge, but I haven't gotten an e-mail reply allowing me to access the forums. (well I can see the threads, I just can't read any of them)

I applied to PACE and I have an interview for Nov 11, so I am looking for any more info I can find. (and in particular the mesalounge)

I've located a B55 Baron that I'm going to see about renting to see how it handles and to do some more instrument work. I've been shooting 110kt approaches in a Seminole so I'm hoping 110kts is fast enough to prepare me for approaches in a Baron. Then I get screwed up trying to do landings in a 172.
 
If I remember right, it takes about a day for your registration with MesaLounge to go through. You should get an email verifying it tomorrow. Once you gain access, most of the MAPD info is found under "New Hires, Poolies, and Interviewees". Even better, if you search type in "pace" or "mapd" under the search function, you'll find more info and opinions on the program than you could ask for.
