MEI Initial in 2 months?

Student passed his CMEL last week, needs his MEI to graduate on time.

He takes a full load of classes at his college, but I told him it is still doable if he works hard. I told him to get his writtens done ASAP, be at the school teaching 3-5 days a week. His roommate is also a CFI student so they can study together.

Aside from the obvious work hard, teach often, do you guys have any pointers I could send his way?

Tell him to block off time every day to work on written prep and lesson plan prep. If it's non-negotiable time he should have no problem. If he views it as "something I should do" but without a definite plan and allocated time, then he'll probably wake up tomorrow and 5 weeks will have already passed without much progress.
