Waffles Brah.
Although I have seen his name on trip sheets, I haven't had the opportunity to meet him until today. Buzz Aldrin is a cool cat, a class act, and a total charmer...A pro at shaking hands and kissing babies. He started telling flying stories of Korea and we all fell silent. He seemed perfectly comfortable eating lunch in the hangar and he's the kind of guy you would expect to be sitting around an FBO on a sunday morning drinking free coffee and BSing. As a regular client, he was here for a promo photo shoot for our company. It was truly an honor meeting him.

I am sooooo jealous. That man is of "Joe Petroni" status in my book. ;)

Speaking of books, I read his current one (not sure if it's his first or not) and it's a great read. :rawk:

Cool. What's with the flight suit? When you say trip sheet I assume you mean charter stuff... he doesn't fly charter flights in a flight suit all the time does he?

Nah, they were doing photos for a story in some magazine or some commercial. He did the same recording and script in three different outfits; one was the nasa getup, one was jeans and a company polo shirt, and one was a suit.

It was a great honor to meet him, even if he's not the greatest dancer

And for the record, I'm thinkin Buzz is looking rather sharp in his, "FLIGHT SUIT". For someone like him that can actually claim, "Been there, done that...." he could wear his flight suit at Wal Mart to go shopping in!!! ;)
