Naaaahhh! I wasn't offended at all hence the smileys.

I have a real chill type of guy I don't get my feathers ruffled eaily or often.

I can also at times have a twisted sense of humor.

But did simply want to highlight the common misconception/myth bout gays in that manner.

This is simply not true. I volunteer and work with abused and neglected children in my spare time and have seen abuse come from every type of person both straight and gay. I do not want to try and embarass you or your chosen way of life but as a "defender" of the kids I work with I feel that they deserve to have the truth about those who abuse them told.

I stand corrected....My younger sister just graduated from ASU with a degree in Social Work.

While in school she worked in a "group home" for neglected and abused kids.

Man some of the stories she would come home and share were scary...it's very good of you to volunteer your time and energy to help others.

Nice to see someone else from my neck of the woods in here (TUS).

Even if you only go to school there.

No problem Matthew I only wanted to make the point that abusers come from every walk of life and every culture and we shouldn't ignore any group in particular. I appreciate your response. I currently live in Portland OR , but I had lived in Arizona for over 15 years and graduated from U of A a couple years ago. I miss the dessert and hope to move back some day.
