Tomorrow I am scheduled for an FAA First Class Medical review. This is the first time that I am trying out the MedXPress system. On a previous thread I thought that I read about a "No Changes Since Last Application" box/button etc. but could not find it on the MedXPress Internet application when I went to complete the form. Can you provide me some guidance?
Following this, if the "No Changes" option does not exist, then how can I remain honest and document the following? What constitutes a visit? What should I answer?
Summary: I am in the process of converting my FAA ATP to a Transport Canada ATPL. One requirement is a Canadian Medical. The Canadian AME sent me for an EKG as required for a Class 1 Transport Canada Medical. The Canadian cardiologist's review commented "Abnormal QT Wave". That AME suggested that I obtain a more thorough test to resolve/refute the "Abnormal" comment. I returned to the US and went to a local cardiologist's office 6 times (1 - original interview and 2nd EKG test, 2 - review of the EKG, 3 - ultra sound, 4 - review of the ultra sound, 5 -treadmill stress test and 6 - review of treadmill test and final summary). At the end of my series of visits I received a summary finding of negative test results and that I had an excellent exercise capacity (they cut me off after 15 minutes of the Bruce protocol) and I am in excellent health.
Please provide me with some direction, Doc. Thanks.
