The time is coming up to renew my 2nd class medical and the FAA needs an update from my doctor regarding any change in my Tourettes from last time to renew my medical. I'm not flying right now and don't anticipate doing so for some time. I am wondering if I let it expire and just send in the update whenever I apply for another medical would be ok, or would this be viewed negatively by the FAA? I could really go without spending 180 bucks right now.
