I think this is a stupid bill. 1) If the cost of a medical every 2-5 years keeps one from flying, they cannot afford to fly. A medical is less than 1 hour in a C-150. 2) In my career of 45 years as an AME, I have seen multiple Class 3 applicants who are taking medications with potentially serious side effects when operating an aircraft, serious medical issues that would be dangerous at altitude, 3) Psychiatric diagnoses that IMO would interfere with safely flying an aircraft.

In Arizona, if you get a DL at age 16, it is valid until age 65 and after 65 you just need to get a new picture and pass the DMV vision test to renew. What a joke.

I agree w / the Doc , just like we get check rides. So should the driving public .
1/2 mile is an incurrsion to us, but 70 years of bad habits 149mph inches away from Vehicle to Vehicle is acceptable?
