Medical Questions

I must apologize if this is a repeat of any previous posts. I was wondering if weight would be a reason to deny a medical certification. I'm a heavier guy. I got accepted into a collegiate aviation program and of course have to pass a 1st class medical. I worry my weight will be cause for denial. Any insight?

Thanks

Weight itself is not considered. If you are too large to get into a cockpit, that is another issue. I have airline pilots who are 300+.

I have a pre-employment midical exam coming up with the FAA for a ATCS position, however I have mild hypertension which is easily controlled with Avalide. I've gotten a waiver in the past. however I was wondering is there a standardized form used by the FAA that I can take to my personal doc have him give me the ok, and then come exam day simply present the form to him/her to expedite things.

Thanks
