I recently had surgery on my pectoral muscle in the left chest. i was bench pressing and the tendon ripped from the bone. they repaired it surgically by transfering the tendon into the bone through a series of weaves and holes in the bone. rehab is set to start next week, and i am back to typing, driving, carrying things. just nothing weight bearing related to the pectoral. my question is, what scenario would void your medical? i have a 3rd class medical, and have never had any issues in the past for my knee. i would get back to flying once i felt safe and comfortable. is there any part of the regulation that states that a medical will become invalid following any procedure or illness? i am planning on waiting a few more weeks before i fly, but want to make sure i dont need to see the dr again to get my medical revalidated. thanks
