Medical question for pilots

Some of the comments made me think of some other questions that I like to throw out.

As far as working on holidays: it would be unsafe for me to work on certain Jewish holidays. Would I be required to take a vacation day for these holidays or could I request them off from crew scheduling.

Food: For the airlines that do offer crew meals how would I request a kosher meal or a vegetarian meal.

For as far as i can tell, i dont think you'll be on a flight where they offer a crew meal for a while.

None of the majors offer it on any flights less than 4 hours. By the time you get to majors, that might be a consideration. Now, i dont think it will be.

Unsafe for you to work? Not following that one.

There are two holidays(Yom Kippur,Tisha B'Av) were a sunset to sunset the next day fast is required. I didn't think it would be safe to operate a plane if I have not had anything to drink or eat for 25 to 28 hours.
