Medical qualifications for ATC

Years ago I looked into ATC, but was told that I was not medically qualified. Being 19 years old at the time, I just took it as gospel and never investigated further. Just out of curiousity, are there medical qualifications for ATC, what are they, and where can I find them?

Very late response, but controllers are required to have a Class 2 physical. Search that up and it should have all the info you need.

Air Traffic controllers have their own set of medical requirements that are separate from pilot medicals. While many will say it is similar to Class 2, my opinion is it is closer to Class 1 standards with longer periods between Dr visits.
