Medical insurance

I was wondering if anybody on the forum has found an insurance policy protecting us if we were to lose our medical.
I nearly manged to blind myself twice last year (offduty) and prolly couldn't get a job driving a trash truck if I lost vision.
I know my hearing isn't what it used to be, either.

While we have our own in-house loss of license insurance policy, I've heard guys speak favorably about the HarveyWatt co.

OK, got the lowdown and it's good news. Here is the response from the insurance company.

Ken,
If you make your living as a pilot and are a resident of the USA, you can apply for the coverage. Each application goes through an underwriting process that can take up to 6 weeks to complete and during that time you will be asked to complete a paramedical exam (at our expense).
