How long does it take to send me my medical?

Story - I misplaced mine, send the FAA my $2 about 4 weeks ago, but haven't received it. I know it's the FAA and all but I really want to go flying.
 
Took them about 2 month to get my FOI copy, so I guess maybe the same time frame? But I hear they've been sending stuff out faster now.
 
i thought they could fax you a temporary one right away? i seem to remember something about that... I know they can do that if you loose your pilot certificate

It sounds like you waited 30+ days to send in the fee and signed form?

My experience is that it doesn't take 4 weeks...I'd call them back and see. They were really helpful the time this happened to me.
