Medical Certificate

Hi,
I'm now a private pilot, but have not renewed my medical yet. I still hold my student medical. Would this be the same as a third class medial now that i'm a private pilot? And if it is, how long is it good for?

It should be a medical/student pilot certificate. If so, the 3rd class is good for 60 months, if you are under 40.
