Med Free with ADHD- first medical - what to do?

I have a number of issues with my medical, none disqualifying, but some that may raise red flags.

The first one is ADHD. I have a diagnosis of ADD dating back to age 9 (I'm 16 now.) I have been successful in school and life without medication, and I haven't taken medication in 2 years. In fact, I believe I'm asymptomatic, but for the record the diagnosis is there, and I don't think there's anything I can do about it (unless there's a way to magically reverse a diagnosis )

My question is - what is the right thing to do? I know I need to take a battery of tests. But do I submit my medical form to the FAA first? Or somehow take the tests before sending my medical? My head is spinning, because if I make the wrong step and do something out of order, I'm afraid of getting disqualified on the spot.

Any help is appreciated

1) They will not consider the medical without an application on file so you will have to take a medical.
2) Get copies of your medical records and have them available to send to the FA if either the AME thinks they will need to go in or the FAA writes and asks for them. (Keep a second set for your records)

Thanks. Also, will it be harder for me to get a first class medical with ADD? That's what I'm going to need eventually, and I don't want to be able to get a third class and start flying, then realize that I can't get a first class.
