This thread has just turned the creepy factor up to 11...
...I've been very lucky with my CFIs - most of them have taught me something "weird" or odd at least once...the DPE on my PPL ride taught me to fly the 152 with the doors....my primary CFI taught me dutch rolls....my current CFII had me do a PAR/No Gyro approach into Quantico on a bumpy day....
...and having flown a couple of taildraggers now, I'll take grass any day of the week. Much, much easier to land a taildragger on grass. Especially one with big fat tires.
