Sorry to hear it. Pancreatic cancer is pretty bad stuff, especially at that age. RIP

Duane, Marion and Lester were the Cole Brothers. Duane's son Rolly was a pilot for them too - and a good one - until the crankshaft failed on the 450 and it shed a prop blade wiping out the struts and collapsing a wing. Same thing happened to Bill Adams too and someone else. Those guys were running 3.-000 RPM though.
