Don't even get me started on the new GTOs! I'm not debating the car's performance, I don't care how it performs. The thing is butt-@ss ugly, and how DARE Pontiac put the GTO name on that, that, THING! My dad restored several GTOs, one of them took first in category at GTO nationals in 1991. The new GTO is a mustang-wanna-be, it's not even American-made, it's imported from Australia! IMHO it is not worthy of the GTO name. Sell it and call it something else, but don't use the GTO name on it!

You're right .... it should be called a Monaro, just like at home. And it shouldn't be that ugly .. it took Pontiac to make it ugly

Still going to ATP or at least some school in the near future. But need a new car and I can afford any of those without breaking my bank.
Not to mention at Chase we get fleet discounts on them on top of a 10% discount for going through Chase.
So I should get the car just a lil above invoice. Plus I figure having car credit on my bureau would look good for when I apply for a loan.

Where as I was talking about the all new re-dsigned 06 Eclipse.
3.8 liter V6 268 hp. and 260 lps. of torque 0-60 in 5.3 seconds.
Where as the Acura RSX type-S (Hondas are my fave cars) is a 4 banger with a 2.0 litre engine and 210 hp. and 165 lbs. of torque.
There calling the new Eclipse a Z fighter. Below is a link check,check it out!

Damn you put in some work this post...but no fair the ZO6 Corvette isn't even in the same category/class as a the 06 Eclipse. It's like comparing apples and oranges.
A more fair comparison would be the Corvette and a Porche (sp).
Lastly the current model Corvette rocks. Flip up lights are sooooo 80's!
