Man wakes up on United jet, locked in and alone

As I said, if he'd been paying attention or had even flown before, he'd know how to get out of the airplane, and where the 50+ instruction cards telling you how to do so are located.

I don't know. Jumping off the wing and running across the ramp doesn't sound like a healthy thing to do.

Then again Chino may be the only civilian airport in the US with a machine gun tower. By the way SS 100LL is only $4.99 at Flying Tigers Aviation.

I still don't know how people sleep through all the noise of deplaning.
Its possible. I've been so exhausted that I've been woken up by the F/A to find all the other pax off the plane more than once, even on short flights. Often when I travel I've been up for a long time and the flight is my first real chance to rest. And then there's people on drugs. A lot of folks pop sleeping pills or pain killers as well as smoke the dope before flights in hopes to knock out.

In some ways, I'm glad our FAs don't look like that because I would surely get myself into some kind of trouble.
Unless things have changed there, there were a good ammount of really hot FAs in and out of SFO all the time when I was CS/ramp. Very consistant, especially on the Bros.

Come out to Hawaii. Lots of very attractive (and yet, very professional) FAs out here. I think we have two or three former Miss Hawaii winners that fly for us.

I think you're overestimating the average flyer. Regardless of the fact that EVERYTHING important on an aircraft is labelled, they still don't think like we do.

One of my favorite "facepalm" moments flying passengers; I was giving a safety brief before heading up front. The pax sort of hushed me/brushed me off making a go away motion with his hand while saying "yes yes we know how to work everything". As I turn around to leave the pax stops me and goes "Hey wait, how do I work this seatbelt?"

Our seatbelts are setup just like the ones in your car.

Yeah, sure. In the event of an emergency, they'll know exactly how to open the exits.

Hmmmm, I'm sensing candidates for a new Mrs. Duck in the future. :p ;)

Too busy getting everything on video for a FB update, and retrieving their footlockers from the overhead bins and inflating their life vests before going through the overwing exits.

awwwww poor baby. How is this even news?

Man falls asleep in car, doesn't get out. Whoop dee doo.

I don't feel too bad for the guy because he got what was apparently a much needed nap. I do find it a little concerning that he wasn't noticed before the plane got closed up. Seems like a potential security issue though having an unattended passenger inside the plane.
