or, if you're really bored, play around with it at home.....Admittedly still lacking the overhead and FO CDU though...

I remember chandelles, crazy eights, eights on pylons... Don't remember anything about starting a turbojet engine in the PTS! :)

You need to go to the right school. We had a 727 that we learned how to start. very anti-climatic though.

OK, who was in Baton Rouge last night???? Buddy Pass maybe????

Story: http://abcnews.go.com/US/man-arrest...rlines-cockpit/story?id=17060970#.UDYXmaBQSZQ

An man who locked himself inside an American Eagle plane cockpit in Baton Rouge, La., surrendered to authorities and was in police custody, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

This is why when both of us pilots step out for pre/post flight activities, I LOCK THE FRACKIN' DOOR. It's that simple.

For those wondering- ground disable the 145- block it in with vehicles. If you're still on board, all generators deselected, all lights on, Battery 1 off, and watch Batt 2 tank. Then pull Fire Handles. Even if homeslice knows how to start the jet, he's not going anywhere.

Here's one of the videos I shot while doing our ATOP sim time in one of COA's (RIP) 738 sims. I'm in the jumpseat, guy acting as FO was a Hornet pilot, and the guy in the left seat was a newly minted PPL who flew the damn thing better than any of us. Wayne who runs the program (the guy talking) is one of the coolest people I've ever met in aviation or out.

Nerds, nerds, nerds, nerds, nerds, nerds!!!!!!!! Just jiving with you but damn, you cats were way more focused then me during my 16-22 age school career. I didn't even know they had these programs for a computer. High school/college was all about chasing poo, drinking, partying, cruising in my '86 Galant and '87 Integra. Maybe that's why I graduated college with a 2.3 GPA.

Not our fault you grew up in the dark ages of computing. :)

But hell, I did all that flightsimming in highschool, not college. College is where I became enemies with tequila. :)
