He doesn't profess to be the messiah of geopolitical forecasting... But if you have read his book "The Next 10 Years" you would see that much of what he predicted has indeed happened. Don't discount him without reading a wide swathe of his work. He merely maintains that geography is the determining factor in a nation's actions. You can change a thousand things about your nation but you can't change the realities imposed upon you by geography. And this is what shapes nation's actions on a world-wide scale. So the same inherent issues Japan faced geographically pre-WW2 (no inherent natural resources, geographically isolated) are still the same issues that will shape it's actions and decisions into the future. Not to mention that many Fortune 500 companies, Fortune 100 companies, and even our own government and other nations have payed handsomely for his services.
I've really gotta hand it to you, this is the biggest bunch of BS I've ever seen. And that's saying a lot, because I watch a lot of Faux Noise for entertainment value. You managed to beat them at their own BS shoveling game.
