LUV guys…

Thanks. A bit freaking out.
FD: Got a class date for F9 end of December….so Im trying to see whats smartest. But LUV was the dream back in the day. Seems a bit surreal

Congrats and good luck on the interview!

Pay is 75.77tfp and second year is 109.56. Min guarantee averages 88tfp/month. Most generally fly over that, lots of ways to get extra $ usually means you’ve been jacked with by scheduling. Anything over your awarded line pays second year rates first year.

Multiple choices with health insurance ranging from PPO, HSA, and the regular plan which is a freakishly inexpensive. 0$Monthly premiums for family and 2500 max out of pocket. Doesn’t cover well visits and preventive care, it is grandfathered and doesn’t comply with the ACA.

15% NEC/B fund for retirement. Managed by SWAPA for investment choices. Profit sharing is also part of the qualified retirement plan. Company puts 15% of quarterly profit in a fund and at the end of the year divides it up amongst eligible employees. Goes into the SWA retirement plan 401k.

Junior bases are all over right now with the amount of hiring. Mostly west but I’ve seen MDW and BWI going junior. With the amount of hiring they want to do you should be able to get anywhere you want in a few months.

I have no idea on reserve time and it will be base dependent.

I’ll believe it when I see it but supposedly 2200 new hires next year so you have good timing.

Whats the training footprint look like?
Training pay, lodging, duration.

I just got out of training in July. 56 days start to finish, I had 1 stretch of 5 or 6 days off, but that was luck of the draw based on when I started sims. Plan for 6 on / 1 off. You will be well supported throughout the process. I loved training as much as you can being away from family, but they came down for a weekend and we enjoyed the water park that is attached to the hotel. Pay is guarantee for the month, something like 87 or 89 tfp, no per diem. If y oy can bring a car I’d suggest it, makes life eons easier.

Was the hotel paid for?
