49 registered users and only 31 lurkers!

Come on, you lurkers. Join the winning team!
 
For a moment last evening, we had 91 lurkers and 41 registered users online, yow! I'd better check the referral logs to see if I've been 'googled' recently.
 
Just to make you happy I signed up! No longer a dreaded "lurker" even if I have been doing it for over a year now.
 
Hey, having lurkers is a good thing, means more potential users in the future and the curious factor is still there.....

Why would a repeat offender /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I mean repeat lurker choose not to join??? Where's the advantage of being a lurker . . . it's free to join and you can throw your two cents in!

So lurkers, help me understand why you just won't join! Yes, I know that requires one to decloak, but come on--join the party!
 
Oh, I love new people! I just wish they'd log in and talk a little.

I know a lot of guys from work (pilots, rampers, gate agents, flight attendants) that 'lurk' and probably have some great stories to tell.

I flew with a captain last month who was a HUGE Jetcareers fan and read the forums religiously, but hasn't bothered to register yet. And another guy was a pilot recruiter for a major airline that browses often but "doesn't think he'll have anything to contribute" - pshaw'right!

Why am I lurking?

Here is the fact; it’s a nice distraction from the office job. Instead of making calls and originating loans I sit here surfing the internet for pretty pictures of airplanes and reading the jc forums. I could always justify it by not being logged in. If I contribute, now I am definitely guilty. I guess I was just in denial.

I know, anyone need a loan? A nice equity line will do nicely to pay for training or airplane parts. OK - I worked today /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ya know what scares me is when there are umpteen people on and no moderators signed on. Kind of like swimming with no life guard. I often say the difference between JC and the BoyScouts is that the BoyScouts have Adult leadership ... I kid ... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buck.gif
