Went out to Luke Days at Luke AFB yesterday. Got to see an awesome F-22 demonstration. I'm pretty floored at how maneuverable the airplane is. There were also a bunch of static displays including a KC-10 from Travis, a KC-135 from March, a B-2; B-52; some older warbirds and a couple of UH-60s.

Overall, it was a great day! I got a little sunburned but it was well worth it.

I went on Saturday...though never made it in...that had to have been the most poorly organized parking fiasco I've ever seen. F22 demo was cool (I was down on a service road at the SW end of the runways just North of Camelback. It would have taken me 2 hrs to get it...and I got there at 930. Thunderbirds impressed as always!

Agreed. Arrived at parking lot next to Glendale Airport at 1000am. Was online at 1018am. Hit the flight line at 1200pm. But after being there for two hours, it was totally worth it.
 
Was definitely a good show... I was there Saturday and managed a pretty lobster-esque sunburn.

Those are great shots, especially of the heritage flight. I was pretty psyched they included the P-40. I don't believe I've seen one fly in person before, so it was really neat to witness. It was a bummer we didn't see the C-17 Saturday... the Sunday crowd were the only ones to see the demo.

Did any of you other guys check out the Twin Beech and Red Bull Mig nighttime demo on Friday night? It was pretty amazing. You gotta have some guts to fly close to the deck in pitch black!
 
Nice Pics. I was there but my pics didn't turn out as well as yours. We got there right about 9:30 and still had to wait in line about an hour. We got lucky leaving cause we parked in a neighborhood.
