"Lowly" - a short rant

Egoist that I am, everyone is "lowly" to me. If you're flying lower/slower than me, you can't handle the Heavy Machinery. If you're flying higher/faster than me, you're a pretzel-eating computer-minder. I plan to maintain this worldview until I get another job, at which point it will need to be adjusted to maintain my position as the Greatest Pilot Ever. ;) :sarcasm: etc. etc.

i think the subtle difference between humble, lowly, and self-respecting is lost on some people.

they are NOT mutually exclusive terms.

you can be humble, and still self-respecting, and demanding of the ***APPROPRIATE*** amount of respect that you have earned or demonstrated at whatever point you are in your career.

if more pilots understood this, then we'd really start making some progress.

dont be a dbag silver-platter mama's boy.

dont be a sniveling butt kisser.
