Looks who has a crj program now!

They do??? They are headquartered out of different airports in Ft. Lauderdale?! I know SATSAir and Jet U have some type of agreement or ownership, or something, but I didn't know about these two.

Interesting... Besides the fact that transition courses aren't really needed and it's like stealing candy from a baby, their course looks to be much more in depth then ATPs and is about the same cost.

Whatever...

ATP is already doing it. Unless Gulfstream starts flying RJ's with guys paying to sit in the right seat, I don't see how this changes anything. It's just another way to suck money out of people stupid enough to go to Gulfstream in the first place. Idiots.....

I am slightly confused. At the bottom of the site it says, "CRJ Jet Transition Program Price $5,900
with purchase of First Officer program: $1,900
• 12 days housing included!"

What do they mean by purchace of First Officer program? You have to pay them to get you a job?

Jet U and Gulfstream are two totally different entities. Jet U was started by a couple of marketing guys that were fired from Gulfstream for embezzling funds.

What exactly do these places teach about High Altitude meteorology?

Wonder if they need an instructor for that. . . :sarcasm:

Then why was the phone number for Jet U the same as Gulfstream's for the first couple months of advertising?

Don't know if they were or were not - just know that Jet U was started in the old Gulfstream Academy building at FXE by two scumbags that were fired for embezzling. There is no relationship between Jet U and Gulfstream. You know you really suck when you're fired by Gulfstream.

How do you really feel about it? Don't hold back. :) :sarcasm:

They were the same, find an old Flying mag from back when they first started up. You'll find a full page JetU ad, and a full page Gulfstream ad within a few pages of eachother. The contact phone numbers on both ads are the same.
