39-year-old Longwood-area pilot is being accused of giving LSD, marijuana and alcohol to eight teenagers during the past year, deputies said Monday.
Robert Shane Tolliver was arrested Friday on six counts of child abuse and eight counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said. The agency's Crimes Against Children Unit was contacted after one of the alleged victims told her mother that Tolliver gave her drugs and alcohol when she was at his home, a report said.
"CAC investigators began investigating and determined Tolliver had given at least eight victims alcohol, marijuana or LSD over the past year,'' a report said.
Investigators said the minors who were interviewed said Tolliver encouraged the teens to consume the drugs and alcohol and that he participated by drinking and using LSD. He was released from jail on a $16,000 bond. Investigators are asking anyone with additional information to call the Sheriff's Office at 407-665-6650.
Federal Aviation Administration records show he is rated to fly commercial flights, but his employer wasn't named in documents obtained Monday.
