Just throwing this out there and looking for some opinions. I"m 5 years in the GOM and considering a change. I'm a "seasoned" aviator, 50 YOA with 4500 hours. Although, only 1500 of it is FW, the rest is RW. Of the FW time, 95% is all BE200/300 turbine time. The good portion of both my FW & RW time is with EFIS, FMS and AP time. I don't think I could stomach the region ladder. A 70% cut in pay is hard to swallow and sell to the Missus. Do I bang on the fractional door till it opens, or fish the corporate waters? While the pay in the GOM is good and the aircraft are fine (S-76C++ and options for the S-92 and AW-139), it's just the QOL living down here on hitch. Basically, it sucks. If I am going to make a move I need to do it soon before I am trapped by the pay scale. Anyway, I'm open to suggestions.
