Longest Range GA Airplane

I was hoping to encounter someone here with extensive knowledge of GA airplanes to shed some light on this topic. I need to know the airplane with the longest range in these catergories:

Single-engine piston
SE Turboprop
ME Piston
ME Turboprop (<12,500 lbs)

Thanks!

Does they need to be production aircraft, I assume?

This may or may not be the longest, but the new Mooney Ovations have a 2,400 nm range....Holy bladder explosion, Batman! Who wants to sit in one of those for 12 hours straight?

The rules are FAR 23 certified production airplanes with factory or STC internal fuel...no bladders where a seat might be.

Mooney is pretty excellent...I heard you can really burn out those continentals if you really lean them for max range...and is that with factory fuel?

I'm glad there are other nerds out there :)

For multi engine piston, I'd have to think that a Cessna 337 is going to be the winner. Since there are STC's to get the fuel capacity of the plane up to 408 gallons of fuel, and the manufacture/installer claims that gets you more than 2500 miles of range. Not that I'd want to be in a 337 with nearly 2500 pounds of fuel in it, unless it was a P337. That would be a really nice ride, come to think of it. Pressurization, 2500 miles of range and a decent looking airplane.

I can attest that the new mooneys will take the cake in that category easily. My bladder hurts remembering some days in the acclaim...

Bristol Britannia has a range of over 4000nm, but that was an airliner... Although I'm sure there were at least one private version, and I know they have been chartered. Bit more thAn 12,500 though

King Air 200 has over a 2kmile range.

But you're not taking a lot of pax. 1 pax is about all we can take with full fuel. The new KA250 can take the pilot and that's it with full fuel.

The 2,400 for the Mooney is with the factory optional LR tanks, yes.

Those things are actually pretty nice performers, according to their website...2.4k and 197kts, or 1.8k and 242kts...not bad. Obviously you aren't going top speed and max range at the same time, but still...
